chris L Registered User iTrader: (0) Join Date: Oct 2000 Location: in a structure with a roof Posts: 6,049	I have my 6500 on a 9ft lami 1081L . I use 14# fireline 20# will work too and 17# mono . On my 1201L I have a 7500 the 6500 seemed too small for the rod it didnt have the balance I was looking for . It will work fine if it is all ya have . I love the 1201L ! I have it as a spinner and conventional .
