Something new that I've been playing with lately. Wood version of a rattle trap. A hair under 1 oz. Two rattle chambers. Slow sinkers. A couple of views cause its hard to get a decent photo with the flash from them. The top two have foil on the sides. Used some prizm tape on the sides of the bottom one.

Actually, foil on a flat sided plug like those is pretty simple. Seal and prime as usual. Apply some glue stick or 3M adhesive to the plug. Attach foil and smooth it out with your fingers. Trim the edges with a razor. Use a smooth object (I used a sharpie) to smooth out the foil real well. I then used a handle from a racket (had a nice pattern on the grip) to do the scales. Just roll it over top. Do a light coat of epoxy over the plug. Paint as usual when dry. If you mess up the paint, you can just wipe it off and go again. Clear coat as usual.
