A flourocarbon line - not a leader wheel. 1/4 pound spool of 50 lb test will run about 10-12 bucks. Couple hundered yards. Nice abrasion resistance, not to stiff, strong. Not as "springy" as Big Game or Ande. But I agree big game or ande mono works just as well. DZ
