I'm in tears. 1996 was one of the "legend" years. Lanny, #^&#^&#^&#^&y C, Steve Voicinet, George Calzone, Stevie Mills. What fishing we had!
July 3rd we had over 100 fish between 20 and 40 at the Second Rip in 3 hours.
I am afraid those days are gone...

No boat, back in the suds.

Several Hundred Pounds, Mas Comm 06'

Heres several Hundred Pounds of Bass. 2.5 Hours, Mass Comm season 06. Many 30-40LB Bas. The ones Im holding are mid 40lb class. Im nearly 6'4....

A few more from the cape. My brother with a 46# fish from ballston on left. My twin 46# fish on the right taken in front of the parking lot at head of the meadow on eels. Pre-seal fishing at its finest. It was mostly a matter of just being there many nights. The fish were big and around in good numbers. A lot of guys did real well. A firefighter from New York named Paul Hoercher, god rest his soul, taught us a lot of the ropes. I caught more than 50 fish over the 40# mark in a few years thanks to Paul's teachings.
