I was there on Saturday and caught about 60 smelts. Here is a little tidbit that you may find helpful. Instead of using the entire sabiki rig, which I find cumbersome and time-consuming to bait, I cut the line and re-tie it with only 2-3 hooks. That way, if they steal the bait on one hook, I still have baited hooks down there that will catch any other bait robber.
