No TAX dollars involved.None,nada,zilch.The DOD pays to be at the track and all four services pay for their sponsorship.Like our military,
sponsorship is 100% voluntary.

as far as I know, each branch of the military has a budget for recruitment and the money comes out of that. The coast guard, navy, airforce and marines all sponsor, or have sponsored, cars. It must be a productive recruitment method or they wouldn't do it. no different than a tv commercial.

I'm sure it does come from advertising budget...which is funded by the US taxpayer. 5 Million of which are Muslims.

Thats Exactly it. The Military is run just like a business, they have a marketing Budget just like any other company. just look at all the commercials on TV.....I doubt the networks are giving them free Air Time. |
