				DZ - at 39,000 feet

After an exhausting (yet fantastic) week at Disney, I had my wife and kids up at 4:30am to catch a 7:55 Southwest flight out of Orlando. At the airport, I see someone with a VS hat and who looked very familiar. I tried to remember how I knew them but I couldn’t come up with the name. We pre-boarded the flight and as the other passengers loaded, the person was inches away and I still couldn’t place them. Mid –flight, I remembered the TFCTF night a few years back and the Block Island presentation and realized it was Dennis, aka DZ. I took a walk back on the plane to introduce myself, but Dennis had a walkman on and his eyes were closed so I didn’t bother him. Once we landed, the rush to get off and get luggage were the main focus so I did not get a chance to say hello. So hi DZ ! I’ll have to catch up with you another time!

				 | Jim,Jeez - the one time I borrow my daughters IPOD and close my eyes you walk by... oh well. I also spent a week at Disney's Shades of Green Resort watching my son play some college baseball at the Disney Wild World of Sports complex. Even got to see the Braves - Yankee game. Good week to be there judging by the single digit temps that they had here.
Next time wake me up - I was ready to talk fishing!

DZ - sounds like a good time, sorry I didnt catch up with you. I failed to mention how petrified I am of flying and was eager to get back to my seat. For some reason I feel safer buckled in. |
