Very good movie. Although given the behavior of some of the characters, I'd be a little embarrased if I was a member of the Mass State Troopers.

I watched it last night as well. Fantastic flick. Jack was absolutely amazing, he fit the bill perfectly.

I was a little confused by the State Trooper's role (Matt Damon). Seemed as if he was actually portraying FBI agent John Connelly rather than a Statie. From what I've heard and read it was the Mass State Police who were working hard to take down Whitey but were hampered by the Feds. I know at least one Statie was indicted in the whole deal but he seemed to be more of a background figure. No mention of a politician brother either. The movie was really good but if you expected to see the Whitey Bulger story this wasn't it. |
