deadliest catch april 3rd

I know there are many opinions about this show but Im looking forward to the new season.

Those guys take things to a whole other level.

im curious if banning the derby style fishing has changed the injury/fatality statistics... probably too early to tell.

They didn't derby fish last year either. 60 pct reduction in overall effort . Northwestern had crab on deck after 5 days!!!
If you had quota you cleaned up. If you didn't you were collecting from the state until they wiped the hard drive that is.

right, so there is only one season to compare statistics to.... probably not enough time.

I read that this will be the best season ever.... whatever that means

Season 4 should be Clammer in a bluefish blitz. Is there a deadlier catch than that?

The show they did on NE lobstering was pretty lame . . . the weather was too damn nice! And the one guy that spent all his time looking for lost gear was painful to watch . . . not that I'd be any better prepared - but that guy should have started a landscaping business

I heard that this year, which won't be on TV until next year, if at all, was pretty bad for the boats and crew. Seems the processors (who also have ITQs) dictated when the crabs had to be landed, and the guys wound up working in some pretty snotty weather again.
