Tonight at Balston Beach/Chatham? - Striper Talk Striped Bass Fishing, Surfcasting, Boating

Going to hit the suds tonight for an all nighter, anyone interested in hooking up and going along for some eel slinging to some cow's???

I have checked the weather and the weekend is looking blown up again so I figured I better go tonight and get some time in before the surf gets too stirred up again. Got a couple dozen eels and I am ready to go rip some lips. If anybody is interested please email or pm me soon and we can make arrangments, don't feel like making the trip alone and BC has to work tomorrow. But will if I have too. Any Takers????????

Well You picked a good night, had fish on the first cast into the night down and up on the tide, lots of small bass to low 20 lbs

Hope You did good, I was arond the corner

Bubba, Me go nuts all day and You know I didnt get to me phone, Me miss U, let Me call You tomorrow, there not going anywhere.....
BTW on a purple with Blue around the eyes

No takers on the Pike but a few bumps on it

BM, was there for an hour, caught a 20 lb 14 oz bass, wasn't going to keep it but I did, need to stock up some fish in the freezer for my dad, going to bring it down to him when I go home for Bambi season.

What a beautiful night!!!! Life is good, going to bed now!!!

the bass I took home was the same size, I got between 20 and 30 fish, hit and run hit and run but fun

did You try plugs? other than eels?
I was tossing pikes and a needle I made...
Bet If you get a gibbs needle and go back You will do well

BM, I didn't toss any plugs, although I had some needles with me. I am working on my eeling technic as I haven't fished them much, mostly artificials. I wasn't changing till I got a big fish on an eel, fish or no fish!!!

Should have gone last night but didn't want to make BC feel bad as he has had to work all week. Next week we will be hitting it for sure, Maybe even tonight. What do you think this wind will do down there???

off the top of My head Love,,, I think the wind will have a west in it and it may be good as long as the suds arnt Munged up.
So If im going Then it may Be worth while for You, Just Hit all the beaches till You score

FW - You are doing nights down there correct ? I am back at work for the next four nights, off from Friday 6am to Monday. Maybe then I can hook up with you guys.
Not to much luck at Tri-State - BasicPatrick and group, did our best to find the fish.

Bass-Master was turned on to a spot that was like shooting deer at a zoo - and cinched up the Tri-State trio victory.

Hey Beetle sorry you didn't do well at tri-state, it happens, and you didn't have very good weather either.

As for the cape, I am thinking about going tonight to check things out and see whats happening.

Friday is cod on the boat day unless the wind is snotty, so I will need a day to recover after that cod jiggin, LMAO but we will have to see what happens, it is supposed to blow up again on Saturday so that might screw the cape up. Time will tell.
