Try Grabit

This isnt a true file sharing program like Napster or Bit. This works with newsgroup postings. Takes a little set-up but it is easy. For music it is fantastic.

What do you want to share? Just to share with a couple other people? Or the world? Be concerned with lots of bad stuff going around in sharing...

Ya once you have the program bittorrent, the applications for it are endless. There are sites for videos(like the movies that havnt come out in theaters) and stuff of that nature. The trick is to find them, alot of them require a membership and sharing ratio(you have to upload proportionally to how much you download). One that is a good place to start is torrentz.com its just a search engine for most of the major public torrents. O, and as JohnR said keep a watchful eye out for anything that looks sketchy because the internet is dangerous/really freaking weird and god only knows what you will come up with if you arnt careful. =D
