Thumbs up

At under $50 on ebay the Daiwa Laguna 4000 isn't a bad choice. Aluminum body and spool, great drag, bail doesn't close when casting , light weight, good capacity, if it only had a waterproof drag it would be great!

i have a stradic 4000 on an 8 ft st croix. It is still fairly smooth after 2 seasons of use, but I would more than likely go with a spheros rather than a stradic if I were to do it again. I used a sheros 8000 on my 10 ft stick, and it held up alot better than my stradic, and it got more use.
