I eliminated the section behind the seat. Easier to get rid of debris and seem useless to me. Makes putting the rear section in and out easier. Well worth the effort to do and really very simple. I used regular plywood. I may try to seal a piece of ply with epoxy next year but I have been saying that for years. Fishing comes on quick and I say screw it and use what ever is easy and quick.
