I thought maybe the clearcoat with added scuff woulkd result in a more durable finish as end result. A few of my plugs had problem

My problem is not waiting long enough after painting (airbrushing)--I think I apply to much paint at once instead of spraying multiple coats. A few plugs split their epoxy (not the wood). E-tex applied at less than 70 degrees could be the problem too. Is there a better grade of paint I should be using? Should creatix also be applied at 70 degrees?

I don't know about being necessary but if you do a scratch coat, it certainly will help give the epoxy something to grab ahold of.

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.
