Shimano Stradic 5000FG

Shimano Stradic 5000 FG – Ideal for a 10ft or larger rod New – I got this over the winter and should have bought the 4000(or smaller) for my rod. Sell for $120 or swap for a 5000 FH

FYI the 4000 & 5000 have the same body, if you just want the smaller spool the 4000 will fit on the 5000 body.

Yup, that's true. But the 5000 is advertised as lighter......go figure.

The 5000 holds more line, so the spool deeper which is why it is lighter

TX Guys, it is the weight I am concerned with. The 5000 is actually 1 oz lighter than the reel I have now (Diawa Z 3500), but it feel heavier.
