yes to your quest

Rob
Like you, I started out as a spin fisherman, before I started fly fishing. That was back in 1960. In 1972 my dad was able to buy a little bit of heaven in sandwich,ma. A little cottage at the mouth of scorton creek. From then on fishing became a way of life for me. The next year I was taught how to fly fish by a number of good fly caster from the newly formed southeastern chapter of trout unlimited. For the next 10 years I shifted back and fort between fresh and salt water. Now after almost 20 years of only fishing in salt water. I say YES, learn how to fly fish and fish in fresh and salt. After the first time you hook up on a fly rod and land that fish .You to will be hooked to the thrill of fly fishing. TIGHT LINES, and when you get that fly rod, " GET YOUR BACKING WET" the kid.

GET YOUR BACKING WET !!!
