' can you come get me? ' around 9:30 i'm dismissed out of school. we get home around 10. i hit the couch, and passed out.. i woke up around 4:15pm..
so that was today..
-----------------------
LAST NIGHT!!!!
we got there an hour early..we beat the traffic and got a good parking spot. so my dad and i are sitting up in the bar, which was wicked nice. glass building. so around 6:30pm ish. they start letting people into the arena and so dad and i head down. we find our seats, were maybe i dunno. 80 feet away from the stage?? still amazing seats! so around 6:55pm the show starts... first band that came out was RED, they asked who had never heard of them.. litterally everyone but me raised their hands! so i'm singing along to ever single song, they played 5 songs.. then here comes a 20 minute intermission, next band was puddle of mudd, they played 2 of their new songs on their upcoming cd, and then they played blurry, drift and die, and she hates me.. lots of fun..
After another 20 minute intermission.. came the best 2 hours of my life!
Breaking Benjamin came on, this was when the party started.. they played like 10 songs, i knew them all.. everyones finally standing out of their seats head banging and stuff.. greatness. they played dance with the devil and adam gontier lead singer of three days grace, came on and sang with him on that song. BB also played the Halo 2 song, Blow Me Away, IT WAS SO GOOD!! then they left the place with out the leader singer singing some, and had the place jumping and singing Breath.. i always wanted to do that!! so they ended their set, had us make a load of noise for the bands and that was them.. they played for an hour and a half, cool beans.
20 minute intermission..
NOW THE SHOW HAS BEGUN!!!
THREE DAYS GRACE!!! WOOOOT
they came out, and i thought i was dreaming. first song they did was ' Animal I've Become ' that got everyone going. Then they played ' Riot ' and a bunch of other songs from One X and theyre first album.. During ' Never Too Late ' Adam Gontier the lead singer came up into the section next to me, about 20 feet away..not even, but he came up, and i started FREAKING OUT, like i was almost crying freaking out.. i was trying to scream, but i litterally had no voice left.. 2 bottles of water later i had my voice back, and oh my god it was just flippin awesome..!! In the middle of ' Just Like You ' the lead singer of Breaking Benjamin came out and starting singing, i didnt even notice at first then i'm like OMFG SWEET!.. they ended the show with ' I Hate Everything About You ' Adam [ lead singer of TDG ] had the whole place singing the last minute of the song where the chorus repeats like 3 or 4 times, he only sang the last one.. It was freaking awesome!
When the show ended, my dad and i were standing there yelling encore, well more like he was yelling and i was squeaking lol. but there was no encore.. i couldnt talk to hear out of my right ear for a while, but it was so worth it.. If they come back here, I WILL be going.
So theres the best night ever..
And heres a video from last night someone posted.. i have to develop my pictures this weekend..

woah wait.... "i hate everything about you" an ugly kid joe cover?
i love when good bands to covers of mediocre bands. you know, the band your embarrassed to say you liked, and the wham your at a gig and you hear the band you came to see playing it, and everyone digs it again for a split second.
ill admit it.... i had that ugly kid joe tape, until i spilt orange juice on it.
but then you take a band like ugly kid joe and they try and do a cover of a classic tune like cats in the cradle. At the time, it wasnt bad... but its just gawd awful now.
if Three Day's Grace has their own song called I Hate everything about you, then I apologize and please disregard this babble.
hehe it was pretty sweet having dad come, and was even cooler to see him singing along with some of the songs, he says next concert we gotta try and get tickets for it nickelback up at the tweeter center in july

Even Rappin Mikey won't go see cool bands like BB, TDG, etc.
My boys from Waltham were on American Idol twice last week, too bad, Dave and Frank are touring with Seemless!
Love the bands...wish DadBomba loved them, too.
You guys are a class act! I wish I knew you were going, maybe coulda pulled a few strings.
Red and Katie, us Bombas love ya!
Too bad Mikey and I gave up singing!
Love,
The Bombardier Family!

I have to say things have changed, mostly to the good since the last concert I went to was probably 20 years ago. Civic center was alot cleaner, parking was a breeze, and they opened the floor back up to a general admission type set up. I asked one of the security guards when did they start doing the general admission thing again, his reply was oh it is not general admission the floor tickets cost extra. I'll pass on the mosh pit. I was surprised on how well behaved everyone was.
We got there probably an hour and a half early. Sat in a restaraunt/bar with glass walls (Shulas 347)overlooking the entrance to the dunk and just sat back and watched the people. I was suprised to see how many parents were there with their kids. The concert was pretty darn good too, just alot more bass, and I mean alot more bass. We both had a great time.
