I currently own a 7" Ugly Stick tiger ML action 12-30# line matched with a Penn Spinfisher 5500SS. this is my lure rod.
Now that I am buying a combo for next season for only chunking mackeral herring and squid strips, and also "live-lining" eels and herring, I want to buy the Shimano baitrunner. The rod I will get will be the Daiwa Sealine X:

Now here's the idea: Since longer rods are better casters for plugs and lures, I will switch the Ugly Stik Tiger and put it on the Shimano baitrunner. The Penn Spinfisher will have the Daiwa Sealine X, which is 9'2" (ussed to cast lures)
