Slammer223 Registered User Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: Mashpee,MA Posts: 362	Hi Jim, I'm not sure,but I think the only difference between the 4000 and 5000 is the spool.The 5000 holds more line.Maybe you want the 2500 size,but that is pretty small.I use it for smallmouth and largemouth bass fishing.
