Really only the first day...cut my finger up pretty bad on braid and decided that I needed a little less octane in the blood to be effective.
Not too much out there boys...you guys gonna be in with some real blue-bloods tomorrow; not a surfstick among them.
Later,
Rick

I was thinking of you guys Friday night/Sat Morn while facing you fishing the north shore around 3:00am when a kick ass double bolt of lighting came down somewhere over the islands.
It was bright as hell for a second. I thought I 20 SB.com skeletons standing on the beach for a second.

We started the long trek back to the club when we saw the lightening, but never really had it bad over the island ... at least not until 4/4:30 a.m. when I slid into my bed ...

Yes, those first cracks of lightening were all that was needed to spur the second longest trek on that island back to the club... Finished that off with a little C&C - thanks Kevin

Good time, except the ride back home via boat beat the chit out of us. Our course home from the canal is due north.....right into the teeth of it yesterday. Went south of the islands through Woods Hole to avoid getting pounded all the way up Buzzards Bay, which worked out great, and got a nice push through the canal.
Fishing has to pick up there, no? Really weird. Our fish had empty stomachs....
Clammer, take back your deposit, you PITA. she didn't charge for your room. You gonna need it.... Hope you get parts soon. All of them..... You gonnna do a commercial for Sea Tow?

Hi Ross I was out Fri. and Sunday but missed you and the new boat. Good thing you went south as the bay was ugly all the way back home at 4:00 Sunday. Took an hour and fifteen min. to do what is a 20 min. run for me on a good day. I helped Clammer out Fri. as he waited for the tow. Nothing like the site of a motor torn in half to make you sick and weak in the knees. Hope he is able to get back on the water fast.

Yeah, sorry to miss you Greg. I decided to beat feet out of there as the conditions were not going to improve. On Sat. AM, Fishpart and I recovered the main shaft and prop from Clammer's mishap. I got to see Mike for a half hour before Sea Tow pulled him out. Took me a bit to pull my jaw off the deck......
