I have rigged the big surfhogs with the rear hook tied to the ring as described. Hooked a couple of small ones and blues on the rear hook, but all bigger fish on the front.

I don't know if it would be marketable or not, but I have couple of spots that are begging for a shallow running wobble head in maybe the 1/2 oz range. The 1 oz are a bit big and snag in the rocks in these spots. I think if something in a smallersize ran a bit shallower, it still would work ok with the bigger rubber and be great for smaller curly tails in the spring. FWIW...
