If you have a 6 to 6-1/2 foot M or MH freshwater spinning rod, spooled with 6-8 # mono than you could bring that. I'm using a 6-1/2 foot rated for 6-10# mono and 1/8-5/16 oz lures. You don't want a light trout rod, because your fishing deep and need M or MH action so you can feel the light takes, but a heavy action is too stiff. If not don't worry, I have spare stuff for you and Jenn, if she comes along. I'm using hand pours, along with some store chartreuse Bass Assassins in 4" with the paddle tails, but again I've got that covered. Basically meet me and make sure you have appropriate gear (like your going ice fishing or skiing) to stand in the cold all day. Layers and lot's of them, like my mom used to tell me, you can always take them off but.....

I'll have a cooler on board so any lunch/drinks you want to bring. Oh yeah and a camera for the lovely scenic views, lol. Actually I'll have the digital and I really should snap a pic of the dump. I'll give you a call tonight if your around, we can discuss where to meet.

Tight lines

ps: Jenn what about you in or still heading north?
