You made the right choice there has been and still is some outstanding flyfishing and spinning for trout. I was out again on Monday and yesterday.

Monday we drove the 14 skiff out through the 4 footers and found birds up the ass on the edge of the bar and caught a slew of them on sluggos (just to windy from the north to fly fish plus standing up in the boat was a chore). We were the first boat out to brave the wind and hit the bar edge even though we were the smallest boat out with two guys in it that go 6'-5" and 6'-6".

Last night the wind was way too sharp and going with the tide I had to deplay my sea anchor to hold me steady as I blind casted at the start of the outgoing. Had one fish that would have gone 26 lbs come clean out of the water and suspended as over tea kettle after a sluggo in 6 feet of water. He missed it but boy it was cool to see.

Why even try.........
