A guy I boat with has it on his twins. He says he can tell if an engine is out of tune, or plugs fouling because he knows the exact floscan reading at 4000 rpm. I thought it might come in handy with some engine issues I've had. BUT that is WAY too pricey and your right "not worth it."

Flo Scan and all fuel management systems are meant for just that
"fuel management"

If you know where your sweet spot is (doing the best speed with burning the least amount of fuel ) you don't need one.
