not as many trips this year at this time compared to last year... and the trips have been slow. more skunks and smaller fish

pretty steady with 20-25lb fish from shore  I keep fishing through them but I havent seen the size increase I'll just keep whittling away at them. |

Been about average on the number of keepers but most of the fish for me have been between 30-34" with a few fish topping 40.

About the same as last year when I've been out.Mid/Late May was good in the canal.For the last three weeks and next three weeks no fishing for me. Awaiting the arrival of Baby Beach. Will hopefully be back out mid by mid July. Until then I'm an internet armchair fishing hero. Should be at 1,000 plus posts in the next three weeks with all this time on my hands.  |

That's the ticket! The Bay has been red hot. I am certain that once the water warms up the Big Girls will head south to deeper, cooler water and then it will be a night time eel bite. Right now the pogies are still here and the water is still cool enough to hold the "Ladies". |
