It was a cool spring and it has been a cool June. So the action off the shore is finally catching up now that water temps are in the upper 50's.

Post picking up

The only thing I seem to be picking up is the trash that seems to be everywhere. Been to the following places the past two weeks and have not seen one decent fish caught.
Ditch
Plum Island
Charlestown Breachway
Hull Gut
Scituate
North River

Come out, come out wherever you are.....where are you hiding..

are you sure? May and June have seemed to be warm months to me, this is one of the nicest springs/early summers I can remember.

the cool weather really has me flustered. any where they should be, they aren't. and night fishing isn't as strong as it usually is. it actually seems better during the day around here. too bad i cant get out during the day. i am heading out at 3am tonight. catch the lovely morning tide. haven't gotten out for a morning tide all season. (though i have almost stayed till morning a few times) hopefully i'll get something with my new set up. i tested it last night. i get a good extra 20-30 yrds with half the effort. which from everything i have seenthis season is where the big fish are.
