i remember when
down at crescent beach....(mattapoisett)
there was this private one lane bowling alley
in someones basement
for a nickle you could play a game...
my dad would give me a quarter
and it would last all night...
those were the days....i miss

The Blonde Bomber of the SF Bay Area Bombers. She could probably kick the asses of all of the male "jammers". I think that's what they called the speedy little skaters in the striped helmets, the ones who could score points. You had them, "blockers" in the solid white helmets, and the ones like Joanie and Charley O'Something who wore the black helmets. They could also score if one of the "jammers" whipped them out in front of the pack.
Joanie passed away within the last several years, I remember reading
