If the holes are fairly small, Aquaseal will make a usually permanent repair. Pinholes, hook punctures, etc. For bigger spots, the patch plus Aquaseal. Again, that sort of patch job is generally permanent.
Clean with Cotol if the spot you're trying to patch is dirty.
That Orvis tape is imo a temporary fix. Works great for a while, but it WILL peel back eventually. Time to failure is probably related to how clean the area is. I've had some of my repairs go just a few days, others for 1/2 a year.

Buy from a reputable dealer and return them within the years warranty at the very first hint of trouble. Never get sentimental about waders they are one of the most cost ineffective items a fisherman must have. One would think that in 2007 there would be a wader on the market that one could abuse (read: barnacle encrusted rocks, pilings jagged edges etc) that you would get at least 2 to 3 years out of with a pro rated warranty. (Doesn't Grey-lites comer with that?, my old ones did but Grey-lites suck in cold weather, they crack)

Why even try.........

Its a hook puncture. My fault. They are over a year old, fished hard and they still have alot of life in them. Orvis won't replace these because of a hook puncture. I will aqua-seal them and good as new!

I think those waders are on the way from Simms. Heard rumors that they are coming out with some durable lightweight waders in the ?Fall?. When I heard about the specs they sound like they will be the best waders on the market when they finally come out.

Standing on the water, casting your bread
While the eyes of the idol with the iron head are glowing
Distant ships sailing into the mist
You were born with a snake in both of your fists while a hurricane was blowing
