3 keepers yesterday...i try to put my pots relatively shallow as I pull them all by hand. i will be doing a dive tom. have found a few with that bacterial infection that decalcifies their shell. put one in the pot yesterday...ugly but still tasty.

Lobstahs

I'm in outer Boston Harbor, 10 potter, and dropped mine in last weekend. Checked 'em Wed. the 27th and got 7 keepahs! It was my birthday so that was cool. This Sunday checked 'em again and brought home 12 keepahs, and one huge Jonah crab! Sweet!!!!
Pullen' again on the 4th and licken' my chops til then

To answer the line length question. Line length should be twice the depth distance. Thats how it was explained to me years ago when I had mine. Do you guys lay them north/south? That was also exlained to me by a commercial guys.

I'm planning on doing some lobster diving (snorkel).
I have a few jetties picked out that look promising.

I'm good with the line length and I'm in the inner harbor which was posted is slow...so I'll see Saturday when I retrieve.

What's the north/south theory?
