There are two "#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&"s I have met.

#1 is Billy Nolan (not the deceased Bill Nolan of MSBA fame), christened that name 9 or 10 years ago by Tim Coleman in several funny Fisherman articles, along with Stevie "Van Staal" McKenna, and Joe "Pack" Filipkowski. This is the "first" use of "#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&" that I ever heard. This is not to say someone else somewhere along the line was referred to as #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& by their peers

#2 is a fellow out of the South Shore of Mass area that fishes all over the place, though usually Massachusetts. This individual also has a Mass license plate that reads "#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&", his initials are D.L., and I believe he was getting called #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&, locally or by himself, after #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& #1 above was being written aways comically by T.C.

At any rate, Billy is "our" #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&
