I've drilled a few holes - not sure where the weight on the new ones comes from though. Why are the new ones heavier up top? Assuming they have a lighter layup and less thick of a hull??

what's that old saying" putty an paint make it what it ain't".I'd have to get inside one drill a few holes to see...mine's getting roller burn from sitting so long in the saddle
