ideally i want to make an entire 9er rig that is indestructible. Thanks for the responses guys, I'm going to put some more time into these this week and hopefully make achieve more of a finished product. What size hooks to you guys recommend? The lure is about 5", hookless.

You could always just attached a bunch of willow leaf blades to your umbrella rig and the blues cant chew through them...

i could buy 9 of anything, but that wouldn't help me eliminate the cost, and future cost of replacing these things. not to mention the fun i am having with this... im already thinking about where im gonna work on these while im at school.
