Gaming geek here.A dell isn't something I can comment on.I have a custom rig .2 vid cards watercooled Processor.WTF is an ISAS card and you say mount to chassis.Just installing a jumper and putting the card in should be no problem if thats what your doing.I've installed waterpumps,radiators,harddrive water coolers,UV lights,custom cut windows.I'm sure it would be alright unless this card is the size of a boot.

ISAS was a card slot before PCI cards.

Mounting it is no problem, some standoffs and velcro to keep the edges grounded.
the problem I have is space inside the box to fit the friggin thing...

Brian - I might be able to take a look sometime... Do you have any open 5 1/4 drive bays? That might be easiest. I have not seen that particular model but if there is room- shouldn't be a problem.

Question is, if card isn't mounted in a slot, how are you going to interface with the computer? How is the power going to be delivered? ISA (not ISAS) slots, unless specifically designed otherwise, got their power from the slot itself.

There may be options on ISA to PCI Bridges but they may be costly. What are you looking to do?? Your system? Works system?
