Look great, What difference in action is the two hooks vice one, other than added weight.

Suprisingly similar action. I think the ratio of nose to tail weight, overall sink rate, and length of the nose slope have the biggest effect. The bouyancy of the extra wood seems to be canceled by the weight of the extra hook and the plugs swim much the same.

As for split rings vs cut hooks, I don't have strong feelings and use both depending on how far I want the hook to hang below the plug.

I'm just hoping they work half as well as Eddy's needles. Tall order though.
