I'll take a wait and see attitude because its not good to get your hopes up and get let down.Many a year the bait moved way out of reach and all you could do is watch the carnage and hope that the wind would blow the bait closer.

Rent a damn Kayak man!If they are a couple hundred yards and you want a good day of fishing the edges of the schools!I'm sure you can hook up with someone in here to go out with ya during a blits or two.Hell if your in RI I'd go. |

LOL i've been using a yak for over 10 years.But to me there is nothing like catching from shore.Plus i don't always bring the yak with me. |

Like every year, it will be good for some, not good for others. Just gotta get out there and try to be one of the ones who has a good one. If we get mackeral or small blues near shore up here, I have a good feeling. If the mackeral come too late and its just peanuts, probably not so great (size wise). I'll just keep going with my usual nighttime routine and try not to get hung up on chasing schoolies, well maybe alittle bit at dawn and dusk.
