Looks like Sat might be unbearable but I actually took Monday off so I could fish sunday night.
So after a big storm does the fishing generally turn on or will I be fishing a turned up desert?

That soon, I vote for the later unfortunately. The wind will be strong SW which doesn't help the churn.

I was telling a couple of my buds about a storm in late October of 88 when there were 8 to 10' waves on the South Coast. We hammered big fish all night and into the next day on 3oz bottle plugs and reverse atoms in the old amber color.
Another notable was the day after hurricane Bob, I don't remember the year, maybe 90 or 91? Anyway, we fished Deep Hole with waves so big they were rolling right over us. Soaked to the skin and hammering 30#+ fish all that day.
You never know. Go but be aware of your surroundings. Big waves can crush you like a bug on a windshield.

I went down this morning Mike. No one around except a couple of guys (you slip mate included) doubling up their lines.
I doubled mine. I think they give the big boys preferential treatment.
I'm safe way back where I am.
