I carry a squeeze bottle of Providine ( amber/yellow colored stuff put on the skin prior to surgery) in my surf bag. Was suggested to me by a pharmacist who told me it would kill anything.

I squeeze it on/into every cut/nick when fishing ( esp after the poor guy in Warehem died from a bluefish infection).

I'm sure I saved Slipknot's life - poured it into his hand one night when he sliced it on a fish.

I always try to keep the antibacterial wipes when fishing too. Not so sure they are fool proof but it gives me a little piece of mind......

Simplify.......

Thanks for all the concern, but I want to make sure that everybody is aware of this. BTW this looks a lot better today and the swelling has gone down.

Exclamation get well soon Jim

spices will double the power of your immune system.! warning!
what goes in hot tends to come out hot so use them wisely!

and don't forget to take vitamin C anyways even though your on the meds. 2000 miligrams per day at least .... or get the slow release type.

you pee out 2/3rds of what ever vit . C you take in ... so keep that in mind.

some people think drinking orange juice gives them plenty of vitamin C... not really, because it only has like 75 milligrams per glass
and you'll pee out 50 milligrams of that... see
strawberries actually have more vitamin C in them too

i bought 5 kiwi's (fruits) for a buck and they are loaded with it..!!

25 milligrams
aint doodly squat ! said grandma to josey wales lol

hell,
i used to take 10-15 500 milligram gram chewable wafers and throw them into a blender with welches grape juice and make a super cocktail that was all frothy ...kinda like shocking a green pool with chlorine...heh heh,and down the hatch whammo!

-> and if you got a little to much acidity in your system all ya do is eat some chocolate (very alkaline) to neutralize the acidity.

echinacea herb boosts your immune system really well too
it was proven in Germany bigtime... available also at walmart
prevents colds too...i haven't had one in ages because i take it daily

then theres aloe vera... the healthiest plant for human beings on the planet earth... i just bought a friggan (heavy) HUGE one at walmart the other night for a measely 5 bucks ....worth every penny especially when you get burned to fillet a big leaf and apply the "fresh" gel directly to the burn. great for sunburns!

I also keep a bottle of "it" (distilled aloe vera juice) in my refrigerator and i drink it with OJ to heal myself internally all the time... it's a miracle plant!

and it also will double the power of your immune system which is the other reason i drink it regularly too...

lastly... anytime you have to take antibiotics... you kill off all of your intestinal flora (the good bacteria) in your digestive tract

so to re-establish the good bacteria you need to buy some LIVE culture yogurt .... pineapple is my favorite because it contains bromaine which helps with your digestion...bigtime...

try this JIM and anyone else who's a slow healer or has a serious problem and you'll be pleasantly surprised at how FAST you can heal up.

I usually carry a small bottle of liquid alcohol rub in my waders. Baby wipes in the car.
