Who cares what a bunch of people on the internet have to say. Once you bought it is yours, fish it, sell it, burn it, hang it on the wall with the rest of all the pretty kindling, its yours.

I have no issue with online auctions.

If your a seller: most of the time there will be a buyer who is addicted to bidding and doesn't care/realize that they are sometimes paying almost double the Value of the item.

If your a Buyer: there are deals to be found but you have to be disciplined and know what a "good deal" is!

I have a friend who will post an item that is readily available from any online "Big Store" and will set the Buy it now/reserve price to cover the fees for posting etc and plus a little profit. When the item is sold and he recieves the payment he then orders it directly from the Big Store and has it delivered to the buyer's address. He has been doing this for several years and just purchased a $1400 Benelli shotgun just from the reward points alone on the big store credit card. This is a pretty common practice for the online auction sites.
