numbskull i lke your second answer better. its more clear cut.

i guess i just dont understand why you would do all that working and paying. for something you could do on your own.
for example i could pay a guy to scuba out to a fish and place my plug into his mouth. then reel it in. or i could take the time and get the fish to bite.

overall it may take a bit longer to number two to happen. but time vs money spent is probably gonna be equal. and number 2 gives a bit more self gratification.


if some one is happy then they are happy. cant argue that. just seems to me in todays day and age people sell them selves short and dont realise how happy they could be with a bit more effort and less money. .

Sometimes people like to go out to dinner at a nice restaurant instead of staying home and preparing a big meal themselves. Nothing wrong with that.

I guess what "set me off' on this thread was seeing someone taking the life of a magificent animal [or any animal] on TV, with no more thought, than if she was buying a pair of shoes!! She "picked" the deer she wanted to kill from the stealth cam photos. The size of the heards have to be kept under control, so she was performing a service and contributing to the economy[all good things] just don't call it "HUNTING".

I'm both happy and proud just to be out on the water. If I happen to catch only 1 fish, it's a bonus, several fish or a nice keeper bass is a priviledge....It's that simple for me really...
