i can honestly say i've been having fun so far but at the same time have picked my outings more carefully.
when the striper fishing got a little slow, i rediscovered the simple pleasures of daytime bottom fishing from the shore.
i guess the highlights of the season so far have been a few trips to the Elizabeth Islands, some alone, and some with a great crew of folks from this site.
