They swim great. I would replace the hooks. The top coat will come off very easily so just keep that in mind. A good cheap plug to throw at the blues.

Thanks for the replies. Glad I didn't pull the trigger yet and order some. I would rather buy plugs that swim well and retain their finish for a few dollars more. Does anyone know of a good commercially available jointed snake/eel in the 3oz/9" area? I liked the look of the Hahns, especially that he used a surfster-style spoon lip, I want something that will swim in a nice serpentine motion and leave a big wake on the surface.

With the Hahn lures its basically bang for your buck. They swim they catch, they fall apart. The lures do what they are supposed to do, but they just dont hold up. But you have to keep in mind the price point of the lures themselves which isnt bad.

Domination takes full concentration..

Thank Bigfish, I'll check out AH and be eagerly anticipating your new jointed eel! From what I've read, the Hahns used to be in the $12-15 range, which would be fine for throwaway plugs, but the range is more like $15-19 now, at least on the e-bay store that sells them, and when you add shipping costs they're not really priced well for plugs that will last only a handful of outings.
