The Art of Surfcasting with Lures book is out

I have to precede what I am about going to say by saying this ......I really ,truly hate this part but many of you have asked me in to let you know when it happens so here it is....

My new book is out.
Titled "The Art of Surfcasting with lures" it has about 240 pages with over 100 photos and drawings.I have spent better part of the whole weekend running to the Post Office and to tackle stores delivering books from PA to MA.If that was not bad enough , Sunday was a first day that I actually got to sit and put up Christmas lights with kids....until the stores start calling to re-order because they sold out over the weekend and now they are doubling their orders. At this pace I should be out of books by next week..........which is not necessarily a bad thing.Maybe I can finally get some sleep

Anyway ,before I go off the deep end (and don't mind me here if I sound a little discombobulated ,I put over 1400 miles on my truck this week) the book is available from sb-com sponsors like Saltwater Edge and Surfcasting Rhode Island.Snug Harbor marina will have some copies and Rivers End in Saybrook and Strafford Bait and Tackle have plenty too,as does The Surfcaster in CT and Andy at Powderhorn Outfitters in MA.

In addition ,all of these stores have a copy or two you can look at

CT outfitters CT
Quaker Lane RI
J&B Tackle CT
Boondocks CT
Fisherman's World CT
Nelson B&T MA
Wildwood Outfitter CT
Goose Hummock MA
Red Top MA
Bears Den MA

Like I said ,I hate this part of it but then again ,I would hate even more if half of the books are not gone already.Since many of you have asked me to let you know about the book availability , I am letting you know its out there. If you are considering a Christmas present for a buddy I cant think of a better one...I suggest you get one while you can.Maybe should of printed more ...
Thank you guys for your support, encouragement ,pictures and advice.Luds48,Sylvester ,MDM,Steve McKenna and many other have contributed pictures and made this project a reality.

For complete list of retailers you can visit http://www.zenohromin.com/Retail%20Outlets.htm.

Thank you all for your support. The response has been phenomenal
Sincerely

Zeno Hromin

Good luck Zeno!

I started reading this book the other day and I'm about 40 pages in. My impression is that this is well written, entertaining with SuperGoogan like moments leading into the lesson learned in a clear and selfless manner. I like what I'm reading (and I'm not treying to be an infomercial here)

I don't know Zeno that well. The past few years I'd hear people saying "You read Zeno's new article yet?" or "Zeno was doing this here..." or "I ran into Zeno fishing off of..." and it sounded like this was an interesting guy getting himself all over the place. Well, I met him when he came out to Cuttyhunk for S-B weekend. If you haven't met him, he truly is one of the nicest and most down to earth people you will meet. Full of sharing knowledge & experience in an easygoing and sincere manner. This book is written the same way.

One of the popular reoccurring Winter threads around here is "What to Read?" - Put this one at the top of your list...

Striped Bass Fishing - All Stripers

Kobayashi Maru Election - there is no way to win.

That's mine ordered (cheers Zeno & Joe).

Looking forward to reading it and putting the learning into practice (next season!)

Got it in the mail yesterday Zeno, and did the page turning last night.

A hell of alot of info between the two covers and set forth in an easy to read and easy to understand fashion. Got the feeling that the book will sell well to the masses - the average saltwater fisherman who is looking for all the different ways to fish but just might be alittle embarrassed (or afraid) to walk up to the more experienced anglers asking the "how do I...."questions.

Thanks again and good luck with it.

i'm about 2/3 though it (I read on the train every day) and like it alot. i like the relaxed and informal, for lack of better words, writing style. almost like listening in on a conversation rather than reading a book. lots of very good information and it is presented as opinion and experience, not as facts that are forced on the reader. wish there were more books like it.

I shipped ten copies to Bear's Den today, also refilled Powderhorn and Rivers End Tackle with more books.Fresh copies went to Quaker Lane Outfitters ,Wildwood outfitters,Fisherman World in CT,Newtown Bait and Tackle in CT and Goose Hummock in MA.

I feel I have to thank you all for your support.I know you guys are not writing bull when you talk about the book because the reviews and testimonials have been unanimous for most part.I am going to admit that I was very nervous in this becoming a part of fireplace starting kit.........but as good as I might of hoped this book would be received ,nothing has prepared me for stores calling me instead of the other way around and half a dozen new stores every day.I printed few thousand copies thinking if I ever sell half I'll be content.Who am I kidding...if this book helps one person I'll be content.I blew my money on stupider things than this before....but the book is for all intensive purpose exceeded my wildest imagination.
The books flew out so fast that 5 days after printing I had to call the printer to discuss re-print (sometimes in January).Ridiculous as it may sound the first print is almost gone in seven days from printing and there are still more than 20 stores I haven't heard from...thank you all for your vote of confidence/It means a word to me....but don't worry I am still a googan
