I think you are using Yo Zuri original. They have an Ultra soft line that is also a coplymer line and it is supposed to be not as stiff as the OG formula and more manageble, very abrasion resistant and very strong. I think the 6lb line is like 12 lb strength and 12 lb more like 20 strength. So its would mean longer casts without without giving up strength.. Like I said freshwater guys rave about it and dont see any reason it wouldnt be a good fit for saltwater. I might have to look into this Ande BC though
