super watery jpi. I always heat set it then give it more than enough time for the water in it to evaporate before I clear anything I use it on. Stuff just has soo much water in it being ink and all, maybe there was still some moisture in it before you cleared?

Domination takes full concentration..

Its supposed to be waterproof once its dried. Use the hairdryer.

Thanks guys, i really appreciate it. Thinking back, i think you're right about the moisture content of the inks.
I do hit the acrylic paints with a hairdryer and clear coat the same day without problems, but sounds like that's way too soon for the inks , especially in a damp cellar.

Dave,

Not sure on the inks. On paints I like to give them a full 24 hours to cure before clear coat. Longer in cooler weather. You painting with inks?

Ya Jigster, i've been using them to high lite some of my needles as they contain mica and give a nice shimmering effect. Best part, they spray like watta.

I use inks all the time, drying correctly giving it enough time to do so is the key.

Why even try.........
