Brian Westbrook - smart play
Anyone see the end of the Cowboys Eagles last night? Knowing Dallas was out of timeouts and his play would run the clock to the 2 minute warning, Westbrook dropping to a knee at the 1yrd line, is one of the smartest plays I've ever seen. (I'm sure Fantasy football teams that had him will disagree).

Real heads up. As soon as he hit the chalk, I had him figured as one of the brainier guys in the NFL.

Great move on his part.... I still think the Eagles record is not an indication of their talent...
I hate the cowboys... glad they lost.... by rites, they should have lost at least two other games they escaped with...

That was a smart play. I wonder if Romo will be taking Jessica to any more games. She didn't have much to cheer about. And T.O. complaining about not getting the ball and then drops one that hit him in the hands that would have gone for a big gain. Seems to me he's starting his old antics. Loved watching the Cowboys lose.

It may have been smart and unselfish but if he scored it would have put them up by two scores. Cowgirls would have had to score a touchdown, get the 2 point conversion and then recover an onside kick, move down the field and kick a FG to tie it- all with less than 2 minutes, no timeouts and a boo-boo on Tony OH-No's thumb.
Westbrook should have just scored!

I agree with Spin. Put the points up on the board to put it out of reach.

I agree. However, for the Eagles it was a nice calm ending to the game. No Hail Mary's, Pass ineterference flags, On-side kicks to worry about, let alone someone get hurt during these shannagins (sp?).

Everyone is praising Westbrook's Villanova ediucation, but now they have to give it up to Runyan's Michigan education.
I also think Runyan owns a major part of an AFL Team in Cali.
