As an aside, I actually took the time to watch the videos of #^^^^^^& live lining pogies that are causing all the fuss.
I've never actually live lined a live bunker from a boat before, and was more than a bit unimpressed by the technique.
Seems more like a novelty than fishing.
You're snagging bunker in so thick a treble zipped through the water will produce over and over again. If you get thirsty, there's a vending machine on the dock about 20 yards away.
You motor to the GPS coordinates Parker's "friend" emailed you that morning.
Then you drop it in the water (or if you're an old salt give it a toss) and let it swim around for a while.
Eventually, a bass who's probably starving (because all the bunker she'd like to have eaten are already in your live well) is tricked (suckered really) into the take about 10-20 feet from your boat. It must be what, a full dozen or two cranks of the reel to bring her boatside?
And this is a sport?

parker23- words to live by-
don't trust anyone
- especially someone who is celebrity. Once someone reaches rockstar status, they maintain it at all costs, even if doing so is immorral and down right underhanded. The price of being a hero is steep and the casualties are many. You got caught by the wrong guy and it hurts, suck it up and learn from your mistake. Once again-
DON'T TRUST ANYBODY

Are you serious? What a crappy way to live. I really hope you're kidding, because that must be a tough way to live...
I'd rather believe that people are good and get burned every once in a while than live life not trusting anyone.
I hope you're joking.

The sad part is he isnt...its way out of line and what he said again in the right eyes speaks for itself...I am nothing of what he says....no way not at all...but hey, I get tired of defending it...Never have I burned anyone in my fishing life never! I am sure at least some will agree with that...Incredible , I dont even know this guy and he make assumptions...anyway, to me its like everything else...it REAKS of jealousy...I cannot state enough how upset that gets me....I never burned anyone anytime anyplace...just not my style..I have always found my own fish and I am proud of it...
I cant fathom what this post has become! its madness, I posted a tv show that was already seen by many, simply for enjoyment for the people here who may not have seen it...and it turns to this..I have no words...
Look, I wont lie, I think I paid my dues, I caught the fish I say I caught, I am proud of it...2 50s and a 60 is something I am very proud of....I never said I was a "celebrity" never...My seminars were and are always humble, I give the most info I can to help people in an honest way...I realize some like me and some hate me thats the way it is and I understand that but to post complete lies? that goes over the line
anyway I am out of ways to defend myself here...what more can I say

I trust a select few people in my life, not the general public. I am a pessimist by nature, so I do not give up anything until I am 1000% positive it will not come back to bite me in the a$$. Too often people prey upon their peers for their own benefit. It happens every day, just not to me. Let me get to know you for the person you are, let me trust you, and I will give you all I have. If you get down to the numbers, I am willing to bet the majority people you meet in life would sell you down the river if it meant they would benefit from it.
