Another vote for Furuno, and get 4k, 2k is entry level.
Raymarine make an awesome radar also, but they don't have a stand alone unit!

Any of you guys get down to the Commercial Workboat show in New Orleans? I went and checked out the Samyung electronics and Im changing all of my electronics over to Navis/Samyung. and just put up a JRC 1000 in the classified Cheap. if your looking for a small lcd RADAR.

Now this is the way to go! It networks with all the other Smyung gear and I can even watch the Red Sox on the screen when the fishing is slow.
