Last year or the year before the guys from MD DNR caught a 80+ pound fish while they were doing electroshock sampling. Its somewhere on the MD DNR website.

100+ pound bass are out there. They live in deep water around a lot of structure.

Every so often a net pulls up a big 80-90 pound fish.

the 125 pound fish back in the 1800's was 6' long, and it was weighed without the head.

There are world record fish out there, and some of us have probably even hooked up with them. I'll show you a picture of the new world record as soon as I catch it this year.
