Very sweet. I just turned 1/2 dozen very similar swimmers. Moved the tail weight back a shade and turned them narrower than the originals. Cast like a bullet and swim better than a danny at slow speeds. Very promising plug. Been asking myself why I didn't go this route years ago.

No. The originals are usually pine (pretty sure), though he did make a "maple" , but I was freelancing and used AYC to get a denser/heavier plug. I'll show you at the plugfest. Got some xrays as well.

The original were made out of pine I believe. I know these are pine. Hope this helps
