That's a great story!
I always tell people that "even a bad day fishing is better than a good day at the office".
I had some of my fondest memories fishing with my dad.
We spent numerous hours either fishing from our pram, or from the shore, catching whatever the waters would surrender.
Sure, we wanted to catch a "monster", but the time we spent together "talking and fishing" was much more important. With 5 brothers and 3 sisters, it's a shame they don't enjoy fishing as much as I, and I'm taking on the task of "enlightening" some of my nieces and nephews to the wonderful world of fishing. Hopefully they will teach THEIR kids when the time comes.

Just remember, spring is not far away, and the cows will be coming back again.
